The purpose of the WMA is summed up in its basic goal: equipping churches for the Great Commission. In order to accomplish this, the WMA offers:
- basic training in the area of missions,
- to a broad spectrum of the local church (congregation, leadership, future missionaries, etc.),
- in a thorough yet affordable format,
- using a methodology capable of rapidly impacting a large number of people through multiplication.
