Branching out – in 2008 the WMA’s missions training was incorporated into the Latin America/Caribbean Regional Equipping Team, an initiative sponsored by EFCA ReachGlobal (the mission organization with whom the Ritcheys serve). This affiliation provides a continent-wide base for use and distribution of WMA courses and materials.

Website and online studies – in 2009 the WMA opened its website, making its texts and materials freely available worldwide. And in 2011 our first online courses were launched.

Transformational discipleship Bible study/manual – in 2014 the WMA completed its Bible study/manual on transformational discipleship, culminating years of investigation and analysis of key hurdles that Latin American churches face as they seek to grow in Christian maturity. This directly impacts missions, as mature churches produce mature missionaries, whom they then support in a mature fashion.

A shift in focus – in 2015 the Lord led the WMA to shift its focus from Venezuela to the broader scope of Latin America and beyond. With a strong WMA base established in Venezuela, Bill and Cherry moved their base of operations/expansion to the United States.
