The WMA’s online courses fulfill three unique and very important functions.

• They allow students to study a course online when that particular course is not offered by a regular WMA study group in their area.
• They allow the WMA to branch out into areas where no WMA study groups currently exist, training future facilitators in these areas and planting the seeds of new WMA study groups.
• They provide for efficient training over a large geographical area, since the same course can simultaneously cover multiple participants from diverse locations.
