With 13% of the world population, secularism or humanism is the world’s fourth-largest religious group (even though they may officially consider themselves to be “non-religious”). The five largest blocs of followers are in:
- China – 592 million (60% of all secularism)
- USA – 67 million (7% of all secularism)
- Germany – 28 million (3% of all secularism)
- United Kingdom – 26 million (3% of all secularism)
- Vietnam – 24 million (2% of all secularism)
These five countries represent almost 75% of the total followers of secularism or humanism.
