With 14% of the world population, Hinduism is the world’s third-largest religion. The five largest blocs of followers are in:

  • India – 987 million (94% of all Hinduism)
  • Nepal – 26 million (2% of all Hinduism)
  • Bangladesh – 16 million (2% of all Hinduism)
  • Pakistan – 4 million (0.4% of all Hinduism)
  • Indonesia – 3 million (0.3% of all Hinduism)

These five countries represent almost 99% of the total followers of Hinduism.
