With 9% of the world population, evangelicals form 29% of Christianity. The five largest blocs of evangelicals are in:
- China – 103 million (14% of all evangelicals)
- USA – 96 million (14% of all evangelicals)
- Nigeria – 66 million (9% of all evangelicals)
- Brazil – 59 million (8% of all evangelicals)
- India – 37 million (5% of all evangelicals)
These five countries represent one-half of the world’s total evangelical population.
