With 33% of the world population, Christianity is the world’s principal religion. The five largest blocs of Christians are in:

  • USA – 257 million (10% of all Christianity)
  • Brazil – 185 million (7% of all Christianity)
  • China – 141 million (6% of all Christianity)
  • Mexico – 114 million (5% of all Christianity)
  • India – 104 million (4% of all Christianity)

These five countries represent almost one-third of the total Christian population.
