By offering its courses in the context of the local church, and by making its texts, materials and courses available through the Internet, the WMA achieves a very high degree of portability.

  • Practically any church anywhere can participate in the WMA’s studies (and even more so as we branch out into other languages).
  • Administrative structure and organization are kept to a minimum, with the local church downloading the materials, making copies for the students, and providing a meeting place for the class.
  • A local facilitator experienced in the subject matter oversees class discussion. Since she or he has already studied the course, either by attending classes in their local area or by participating in online studies, the facilitator knows the subject matter well and is able to lead and oversee class discussion. At the same time, this facilitator is also growing and learning along with the rest of the participants (they are a facilitator, not an expert).
