In 2014 the WMA completed its Bible study/manual on transformational discipleship. It also offered its first courses on this subject to several hundred students. This was a milestone event, culminating six years of investigation and analysis of the key hurdles that our  churches (especially in Latin America) face as they send out missionaries. During these years of investigation and analysis, five textbooks were developed that chronicle our investigation and present our findings from different perspectives. The transformational discipleship Bible study/manual is the sixth, and final, work in this series, summarizing the key findings contained the previous five texts.

This Bible study/manual not only analyzes three major hurdles to sending out missionaries, it also investigates the wide-spread impact that these hurdles can have across various aspects of our lives. Then it challenges the reader to study and apply a broad range of Bible passages where he or she will discover the Biblical principles to overcome these hurdles and counteract their impact. We have received many positive comments from the readers who have studied the work and from the participants who have taken the courses.
